Hello, my predictions are back^^. This time for the Extreme Rules 2013, a PPV who will be aired on 05/19/2013.
I will start again at the undercard, go to the midcard and then to the main event. Of course this will not be the real order of matches.
Note: These are only my predictions! I don't know the endings of the match and/or incidents!
Match #1: Cody Rhodes vs. The Miz (Singles Match)
A match I'm really not interested in... What should I say, I like the Miz and I can't really predict the end of this match. A match without a real story isn't a good match... I would say it ends with the win for Cody Rhodes.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Match #2: Chris Jericho vs. Fandango (Singles Match)
And again. I have to say that this dance contest on Monday Night RAW was real embarrassing and don't hype this match on Sunday. But, Fandango can wrestle if he wants to, I saw that. I think they want to push him, but I feel very sory for Chris Jericho. He's so long in this business and he deserves better than this, no matter if he's an "All-Time-Villain". Maybe this could be a great Rematch for Wrestlemania.
Winner: Fandango
Match #3: Randy Orton vs. The Big Show (Extreme Rules Match)
If Randy Orton doesn't turn heel soon, I'll freak out. Extreme Rules means no DQ. If the PG Era would show blood this could be a good match, but they don't. Unfortunately, Randy Orton is a bit annoying to me since a few month. He comes, RKO out-of-nowhere, and goes. Really, this isn't good for someone like Randy. Look at all his feuds from the old days, look what he earned, and now... totally different. Sorry Randy, but there's got to be a miracle that you win, maybe that miracle will happen, maybe not.
Winner: The Big Show
Match #4: Mark Henry vs. Sheamus (Strap Match)
The Great White One against the Worlds Strongest Man. I really liked Mark Henry in the last weeks and Sheamus was really annoying to me. Sorry, but it's my opinion. I can't say the real reason why I think this, but I hope, I HOPE, Mark Henry wins. Otherwise Sheamus is a tough guy and Extreme Rules could be an event that changes everything. I don't know.
Winner: Sheamus
Match #5: Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger (#1 Contenders Match)
Well, I think this feud really works, though I don't like Swagger^^. But his American "friend" Zeb Colter and his american attitute really fits the Heel gimmick. This fight will be good, as long as it's quickly over, of course it will be a fight, the #1 Contendership for the World Heavyweight Title is on the line and none of these two will give up fast. I'm very tensed for this.
Winner: Jack Swagger
Match #6: Kofi Kingston vs. Dean Ambrose (United States Championship Match)
Oh yeah, the first interesting match. It would be really great if they could make a real storyline and all three members of the Shield would have a title. And to be honest, Kofi Kingston lost almost every match he got in the last month/year.
Winner: Dean Ambrose
Match #7: Team Hell No vs. The Shield (Tornado Tag Team Title Match)
I could say that The Shield, now Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, will win the Tag Titles, what would be great. Don't understand me wrong, I love Team Hell No, but both of them deserved more than... this. Daniel Bryan is a great single fighter and Kane - he's in the WWE for 15 years now and then this? I mean, this Team Hell No was really funny and I'm very happy that they're friends, but this whole thing could destroy their careers. You have to understand me, I love the old wrestling (1992-2008/9) and I think the WWE has changes in these three years, too strong for my taste, and I hated the Shield in the beginning, because I don't know the reason they do this, but now I know it: They want to become the ultimate power in the WWE and I think they reached this goal. They are undefeated, they want the titels, what more? And it doesn't look like Team Hell No has the power to defeat them, even if there's only two of them, also they haven't built it up like they defeat them. Kane and D-Bry should part ways and have great single careers, of course they can remain friends.
Winner: The Shield
Match #8: Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H (Steel Cage Match)
Greatest storyline of this event. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman know exactly what to do to weaken other people, and so shall it be for a heel. In 2002 they broke the wrist of the Undertaker before their Hell In A Cell Match at No Mercy 2002, great strategy and it helped, and now they destroyed Triple H's "second office", also great, but Triple H said that his real office is in the ring. This was an excellent promo for my taste and it really hyped the match for Sunday. Now to the match: Even if this is a Steel Cage match, outside interference is possible, Heyman could throw a chair or something in when the door is open. It is possible, but I think they both don't need it. These are two superstars who are longer than 10 years in this business and they know what it takes to make a good fight. Could be interesting.
Winner: Brock Lesnar
Match #9: Ryback vs. John Cena (Last Man Standing Match)
This will be the longest match in the evening. I know that this will looks like both won't give up. I haven't much to say to this... in the end "Supercena" will be the one to defeat Ryback. Or maybe... Ryback could be the new World Heavyweight Champion. I don't have an opinion to both but I definitely would choose Ryback as the winner, he would make a good long reigning Champion and maybe we'll see Jack Swagger vs. Ryback in the near future.
Winner: Ryback
So, that was my opinion. Of course it can be all totally different on sunday. I can't watch it but I will read the live results on some websites. I really would love to see the RAW episode after this :). I say goodbye until the next time!
